Features of The Desi Life

A free 3D virtual world with an Indian twist, played in the browser on mobile and PC. Here is what is in the game today.

A 3D Indian city in your browser

Mayanagari is an open-world city built for the browser: main roads and side streets with working traffic signals, zebra crossings, cars that queue and stop for people, billboards and lively neighbourhoods. You can switch between a top-down map view, a third-person camera and a first-person view through your avatar's eyes.

Autos and taxis

Need to cross town? Book an auto-rickshaw or a yellow taxi from the Travel menu, or choose any spot on the map. The fare is shown before you book. The vehicle drives to you, waits at the kerb, and takes you along real roads, obeying traffic lights, while the map follows it.

Places to go

Fitness that shows

Every avatar starts slim. Training on the gym machines builds your fitness points, which shape your avatar's body over time; skip the gym for days and they slowly drop.

Dances and expressions

Wave, talk and pick from dozens of dances, including club, hip hop, Latin and party moves, and dance as a couple with another player when they agree.

Safe multiplayer

Real players share the city with friendly computer-controlled characters. Chats need both players' agreement, and you can block or report anyone. See the Community Guidelines.
